Mexican Food Festival Sunday: Check out Taste of Lo de Marco

Just a pleasant 10 minute ride south from La Penita is the charming village of Lo de Marco. The Sixth Annual Taste of Lo De Marcos will be held Sunday, February 17, 2019 from 3:00 until 8:00 pm at the Centro de Fiestas Los Delfines, on Luis Echeverria #9 in Lo de Marcos, (just east of the town plaza). It’s a great way to sample a variety of Mexican dishes.
In addition to the fresh food, there will be live music from 3.30 pm until closing. To make relaxing simpler for visitors traveling by taxi, chairs will be available this year. You can reserve chairs In advance for just $100.00 pesos each.
The purpose of the event is to feature food from restaurants located in Lo De Marcos. There is something for every taste with choices ranging from casual fare to quality cuisine. The following menu lists the food options and prices.
While you are enjoying the delicious food you can browse handcrafted items and jewelry for purchase scattered throughout the event.
The proceeds of the event are donated equally to The Amigos de Lo de Marcos, A.C. who provide service and funding for many of the projects undertaken in this coastal town and to Citizens Actions Committee of Lo De Marcos, who are responsible for organizing the cultural events of the year.
It’s a great opportunity to experience small town Mexico.
