Mexican Toll Roads: Capufe increases fees
The fees for passing the toll booths placed on federal highways increased 4.8% on average.
Mexico.- In the holiday weekend of February 5, Federal Roads and Bridges of Revenue and Related Services (Capufe) increased the price of toll booths on the country’s roads.
The fees for passing toll booths placed on federal highways increased 4.8% on average, it said in a statement.
Said tariff adjustment “will allow these tariffs to be kept constant in real terms, since it is equivalent to the recorded inflation and meets the service requirements in the operation of the highway stretches,” he said.
“For reasons of rounding there is a variation in the specific adjustment of the rate of each type of vehicle with respect to the average increase”.
This change is added to that announced on January 1, when the Capufe informed that it would no longer receive payments by credit card, ONLY CASH or PREPAID CARD
